I need a good dose of ‘cool’ in my life
mizmollz:
Today I have to write a thesis paper for English. I also have to write five articles for science. I also have to study for my French test. YAYI’MSOEFFINGEXCITED. LOLOLOLOL just kidding! This day is gonna suck (: But I guess we all have to go through bad days to earn the good ones, and go through boring and lame years to earn the exciting and cool ones. Example: Right now I have to deal with high school and all the funandjoyandhappiness that it brings (you know that’s sarcasm, right?), but someday I’ll be all-grown-up and independent and my life will be full of ACTUALLY funandjoyandhappiness.
But in all honesty, I cannot wait until I’m twenty-something, living in New York or Chicago or San Francisco or some cool place like that, working at a cool magazine writing a culture column, having a bunch of cool friends who wear cool clothes and listen to cool music and do cool things and make cool things. That’s really where I belong. So could I maybe just, you know, fast forward through high school and college and be where I’m meant to be? Because there are NO cool people where I am now. I mean, I love my friends and everything, they’re fantastic and I would never ever degrade them or be under-appreciative of them, but they just don’t get it. When I tell them I want to go buy an awesome vintage typewriter, or go to a random pizza place downtown to watch a so-far undiscovered musician play, they look at me like I have three heads. And you know, maybe I do. One for school/work/other FUNFUNFUN things, one for my actual personality, and one for just getting through the day. That’s actually not a very far fetched theory, actually (if you were me for a day, you’d get it).
I think this is turning into a rant. Or maybe it was a rant from the beginning. I usually don’t do rants, but OH WELL. Because I just want some people in my life who get me, or at least some people who aren’t total closet freaks. I can wait for all the independence and all the concerts and rooftop hang-outs, I can enjoy being young and angst-y and full of hell-raising fun-filled rebellion. I just need some weird, culturific, wonderful, goofy, wicked-cool people to enjoy it with.

Alright, so I recently bought this Darren Criss shirt you see up there, but unfortunately it ran, like, a size too small then what I ordered so it didn’t quite fit, so since I can’t return it and I’d rather it not just sit somewhere, I’m giving it away!
Some things you need to know:
- It has been worn once and washed once. Still in very good condition (obviously).
- It was ordered as an XL (and is marked as that), but since it runs about a size too small it’s about a medium/large.
- I will ship anywhere, so no worries if you’re foreign!
- I will using random name generator to pick the winner when everything is all said and done.
- Deadline is May 7th, 2012!
Rules/Guidelines:
- Likes don’t count, only re-blogs do.
- You don’t have to be following me, but it would be great if you did!
- You can only re-blog this twice. If you re-blog more than that your name will not be counted in the giveaway.
And so, yeah! That’s basically it! If you have any questions, just drop them in my ask box here. And good luck to you all! c’:

I wrote this song awhile ago, but I’m not sure if I ever posted it on here.
Hope you enjoy(:
We Go Down
Waiting downtown from dusk ‘til dawn
I always thought, maybe, you would be the one
To pick me up
To pick me up
Sky is clearing, here comes the sun
But I’ll never understand the way you called it once
Didn’t have a chance
Meaningless ends and searching hands
We’ve made it this far, now I think it’s time we land
Time to land
Down it goes, we go down
Down it goes, we go down
To the ground
Someone please help me through this pain
I’m begging for a routine
But I’m surprised again
And sharpness of your eyes ridiculing me
Is enough to make it fall
When it hung so perfectly
Down it goes, we go down
Red-tipped toes is all we’ve found
On the ground
All we’ve
All we’ve
All we’ve found
All we’ve
All we’ve
All we’ve found
All we’ve
All we’ve
All we’ve found
Waiting downtown from dusk ‘til dawn
I always thought that you would be the one
Down it goes, we go down
Red-tipped toes is all we’ve found
x5
On the ground
